Bones - 8.23 The Pathos in the Pathogens

The remains of an investigative blogger are found mixed in with veterinary bio-hazardous waste after she apparently died from an infection.

Seven out of ten.

I think I would liked this episode more if I didn't spend most of it yelling at the characters to put on more protective gear - especially goggles.

The Vampire Diaries - 4.19 Pictures of You

The Salvatore brothers plan to force Elena to reclaim her emotions. Elijah tests Rebekah's commitment to becoming human again. Bonnie has trouble coming to grip with Jeremy's death. Mystic Falls holds Senior Prom.

Six out of ten.

I just felt bored during most of the show.

The Following - 1.14 The End is Near

Joe plans to leave the cult compound as the FBI is closing in.

Six out of ten.

I find Joe less interesting the more erratically he behaves.

Why would police doing the door-to-door not be familiar with the appearance of known cult member? And I won't even mention the stupidity of no screening for suspects, IDs or apparently weapons at the evacuation centre.

Doctor Who - R7.09 Hide

Clara and the Doctor try to discover the cause of the haunting of Caliburn House.

Seven out of ten.

Seriously, "Hide" hasn't been used a Doctor Who episode title before?

"Every lonely monster needs a companion" - wasn't that essentially the lesson of the Ninth and Tenth Doctors?

Doctor Who - R7.08 Cold War

Clara and the Doctor end up in 1983 aboard a Soviet submarine which has an Ice Warrior aboard.

Seven out of ten.

Castle - 5.21 The Squab and the Quail

Seven out of ten.

This episode seemed like primarily set-up for the season finale.

Doctor Who - R7.07 The Rings of Akhaten

After the Doctor investigates Clara's childhood, Clara and the Doctor visit The Rings of Akhaten.

Eight out of ten.

Lost Girl- 3.11 Adventures in Fae-bysitting

Bo and Kenzi end up in suburbia when they take a case brought to them by a babysitter after she experiences missing time.

Six out of ten.

Do all book clubs in supernatural shows turnout to be covens?

Continuum - 2.01 Second Chances

Things change after the explosion.

Seven out of ten.

I'm not sure I like the rebooting of the series.

Doctor Who - R7.06 The Bells of Saint John

The Doctor searches for Clara Oswald as select human minds are being uploaded via Wifi.

Seven out of ten.

I rather doubt there is a British 24-year-old alive who doesn't know about the Internet.

Seven out of ten.

Interesting enough to tune in again despite the formuliac elements of the pilot.

Almighty Johnsons - 2.05 A Damn Fine Woman

Axl falls asleep in a dress after a costume party and wakes up transformed into a woman. Dawn becomes suspicious of Ty's part in Eva's death

Eight out of ten.

One of the few show where this trope of fanfiction where this makes hilarious sense. Ty's inadvertent hostel for homeless gods and goddesses just adds to the fun.

Elementary - 1.15 A Giant Gun, Filled With Drugs

Holmes's ex-drug dealer comes to him for help when his daughter is kidnapped threatening Holmes's sobriety.

Seven out of ten.

Monday Mornings - 1.01 Pilot

The surgeons of Chelsea General dread the weekly Morbidity and Mortality meetings on Monday mornings.

Eight out of ten.

Being in the market for a new medical drama and already liking the cast members means I'll tune in again.

Do No Harm - 1.01 Pilot

Jason Cole, a talented neurosurgeon, loses control over his dangerous, sociopathic alternate personality, Ian Price, endangering his friends, loved ones, patients and career.

Five out of ten.

Nothing was really appealing about this show and I don't care to think about it long enough to figure out what the problem was. Maybe if it was the summer and I was hard up for new dramas I might have had more patience.

An epidemic of toxic heroin is causing fatalities. Casey's mother is released from prison. Dawson confesses to Shay about about her relationship with Peter. Otis's transfer request is finally approved.

Seven out of ten.

The jump ahead a month makes me feel like I missed an episode. I also feel a bit let down with all the build up regarding Severide's injury the resolution of the story line seemed rather quick to me.

Scandal - 2.09 Blown Away

Huck explains how he came to possess the gun that shot President Grant. Cyrus refuses to return to the White House with Vice- President Langston now serving as the president.

Arrow - 1.13 Betrayal

A notorious criminal, Cyrus Vanch, is released from prison and intends to regain the respect of the underworld by taking out the Hood. Oliver has trouble accepting that his mother may have been involved in Walter's disappearance while the same evidence makes Diggle suspicious.

Eight out of ten.

At least Vanch survived so he can torment another day.

I'm just having the typical double identity suspension of disbelief issue with both Laurel and his mother not recognizing that the Hood is Oliver.

Primeval: New World - 1.11 The Inquisition

Lieutenant Leeds's relationship with Evan is investigated by his commanding officer, Colonel Henderson Hall, after two soldiers are killed when a terror bird escaped from Project Magnet's research facility.

Eight out of ten.

The intention to use the portals to try to eliminate global warming by changing the past is interesting possibility.

Emily Owens, M.D. - 1.13 Emily and ... the Leap

Will has second thoughts about Emily after his break up with Cassandra as Emily considers dating Micah. Micah's mother finally tells his sister about her cancer and she comes to visit. Emily treats an aggressive, argumentative woman with a hand infection and a man who fainted at work and whose marriage fell apart after the death of their son.

Eight out of ten.

Damn, they cancelled it and as it turns out I really shipped Emily and Micah, especially after this episode.

The Mentalist - 5.12 Little Red Corvette

A red remote controlled toy Corvette is found at a crime scene.

Six out of ten.

As a person who doesn't watch the series regularly, this episode was hard to follow and not very entertaining.

Scandal - 2.04 Beltway Unbuckled

A college sophomore who was writing a blog about the politicians she slept with in Washington goes missing.

Eight out of ten.
Even the President realizes he is beat when his wife and mistress team up.

Really, Huck? Killing a dipolmat: somehow this seems likely to be a problem in the future.

What the heck did the group meeting at the end do?

Castle - 5.11 Under the Influence

A DJ turns up dead in a dumpster after a album release party.

Six out of ten.

This episode was rather light on Castle and Beckett which is the main reason I am watching.

Seven out of ten.

I think I missed this show.

Seven out of ten.

Fringe - 5.11 The Boy Must Live

Elementary - 1.12 M.

A serial killer has followed Holmes from London and kills in New York.

Six out of ten.

Finally we get to Moriarty in a rather mundane and anti-climatic way. Ugh!

Scandal - 2.03 Hunting Season

A man contacts Olivia with proof that the NSA is spying on American citizens using their computers and electronic devices through a project known as Thorngate.

Eight out of ten.

So no one is worried about Thorngate now? Really?
