Star Trek: Voyager - 4.26 Hope and Fear

While still trying to decode the message from Starfleet the crew meets an alien with a flair for translation.

An okay episode, but rather underwhelming as a season finale.

Stargate SG-1 - 6.22 Full Circle

Daniel warns O'Neill of an impending attack by Anubis on Abydos, to find the eye of Ra.

The end was a bit of a let down, but otherwise a good episode. I just hope Daniel is back next season.

Star Trek: Voyager - 4.24 Demon

Running critically short of deuterium, Voyager attempts to harvest it from a "Demon" class planet which is extremely inhospitable to most life forms.

Stargate SG-1 - 1.21 Politics

A Senator visits the facility with the intent on closing the Stargate project.

It was Senator Kinsey, chairman of appropriations committee.

There was lots of arguing around tables and use of clips from old episodes which could be helpful to someone who missed the first few episodes, but rather boring to watch, It was a long  set up for a season finale, especially when I believed from the start that the senator would change his mind, via something happening. Basically low budget filler.

Stargate SG-1 - 1.20 There but for the Grace of God

Daniel ends up on alternate Earth where he refused to joined SG-1 and the Earth is under attack by the Goa'uld.

Sam and Jack were engaged in the alternate environment. The mirror device's resemble to the gateway in Star Trek's "The City on the edge of Forever" seems more than coincidental. The writers may have over-used the ability to kill series regulars in the alternate reality, as this one turned into a bloodbath.

Day of the Triffids (2009) - Part 1

Killer carnivorous plants are unleashed on a predominately blind world.

Really, how could Jo function as a journalist of any kind if she couldn't spot a con artist like Torrence? I know I read this sometime in school but I really don't remember much about it. It was interesting enough that I'll tune in to see the rest.
